Leader of the “Advanced Light Alloy Innovation Team” in the construction of world-class universities and first-class discipline (Double First-Class Initiative) in the field of materials science.

Experienced in teaching and scientific research in the field of material processing, including light- alloy design, solidification structure control, etc., with significant progress made in advanced light alloy design, liquid-solid coordinated control and short-process preparation.

Published many academic papers and carried out multiple Chinese national invention patents.

Undertook major projects and programs of National Natural Science Foundation of China, China’s National Key R&D Programmes (NKPs), including State High-Tech Development Plan (“863 Programme” for R&D), International S&T Cooperation Programme, etc.

Won the First Prize for Technology Invention, the First Prize of Natural Science of Jilin Province as well as many other awards in science and technology.

Editorial board member of Journal of Mechanical Science and Technology (JMST) and Journal of Magnesium and Alloys (JMA).
